About Kelly and his work:

A Professional Makeup artist for over 35 years, Kelly has worked on small projects as well as major Hollywood features. Kelly is a master at film and stage makeup, special effects, appliance work, and even teaches actors and other artists how to use makeup more effectively.

Kelly's prop building and miniature expertise goes from the stage to television and motion pictures, to helping to create attractions for Disneyland Paris. Kelly is adept with all sculpting, and molding media. Vacuum-forming, silicones and fiberglass. Kelly has even invented a reusable heat moldable plastic called EZ-Flesh, for creating life-like figures and body parts. Kelly also uses Photoshop and assorted 3-D imaging software to create 3-D articles which he prints and incorporates in projects.

As The Mask Doctor, Kelly has worked to save and restore hundreds of props and collectibles. With clients ranging from Roddy McDowall to Melissa Matheson and Hugh Hefner, his restorations include a Stegosaurus from the 1933 epic “King Kong” and a display makeup by Dick Smith of Dustin Hoffman as the 110 year-old Jack Crabbe from “Little Big Man”.
